Rama-rama Terbang Hilang

One beautiful morning, after sooooo long I didn’t shot outdoor, I went out with my usual suspect, Ciklan for outing and the mission for that day was to shot butterflies. I drove to the orchid park first because I tough the butterfly park open at 10.00am, tapi tetiba Ciklan called suruh datang sana cakap dia dah bukak. When I arrived there, am ready with the kamera pinjam, lens pinjam dan segalanya pinjam to shot the butterflies, well nak jugak tengok capabilities of the new Sigma kan, so sampai sana tengok kiri kanan, jeling atas bawah, macam takder je butterflies, hmm..dah start rasa macam bosan dah…then manage to find few butterflies but not so beautiful as usual, after sometimes, I felt bored and disappointed because of the amount of the butterfly there and not manage to get any nice shot, boring..keciwaaa…dah..move on. Bila naik atas balik we all nampak lots of butterflies yang di awetkan, so I assumed derang dah tangkap butterflies tu sume tuh, tapi Nana cakap ada cerita di sebaliknya, ok..nanti kita jumpa we story mory ok Nana.
Sampai dekat Orkid park tu, memula Ciklan terus tanya ada tak budak sekolah..sebab last week dia datang ramai budak sekolah yang menganggu konsentrasi dia, heheheh, and he told me there were lots of new flowers around there but when we reached up there, they already move all the flowers, so tinggal la bunga-bunga orkid yang boring. Tempat yang we all serbu mesti la the 2 ponds, for the lotus shot, hmm..kat sini I siap la buat aksi tipu sikit..siram-siram lotus tu ngan air kolam, konon-konon nak kasik effect la dekat lotus tu, then seperti biasa akan carik bees yang hinggap dekat lotus, nak kasi gambar menarik jugak la kan.
Then there were couple came beside me by the pond while I was busy shooting the lotus, the girl asked the boyfriend to shot ther photo, and she simply tarik lotus tu sampai ke tepi kolam, ignoring me focusing on the lotus, so I gave her one kind of look and the boyfriend asked the girl to stop it, to make it worse, the girl pluck the lotus. Uncivilised. Marah nie..sebab ada orang macam tu, coz they don’t respect others and suka-suka je petik bunga macam tuh! Nak je I piak piak dia…hehehhe
After that we move on to taman bunga raya, kat sini pun macam gambar bunga biasa- biasa je la, Cuma banyak la variety dari segi size bunga yang besar gile,so kesimpulan dia, sigma lens tu berat gile tahap gaban, lenguh gile tangan kalau shot for a long time and have to practice practice practice for perfection.

Malar & Kals Engagement

A super busy weekdays and weekend. Went to Melaka and JB for a friend wedding, I’m not shooting anything during that day, so call berehat dari mengambil gambar, heheh..Went to Malacca on Saturday afternoon, and went for dinner at Sungai Duyung, yeah, sea food, nyum nyum and I will definitely go to my favourite place of all, the Jonker stress. Ate cendol, air tebu, and sotong bakar, I really hate the smell of the sotong bakar but the taste was so good, and I bought dodol and pineapple tarts as well, Ah..all about food.
So on Sunday from JB, I went straight to Mafalafar’s house for herengagement, I stop at Melaka for shower and change, when I reached Mafalafar’s house the groom side already walked in the house, so nampak serepih-serepih jer dari belakang people went in there, I just hang out outside with Kals yang di halau kelaur dari dalam rumah, shiann dia. Malar nices and nephews sibuk la ambik gambar and Hafz brought his camera and pass it to me, so when Malar came down after the prayer I start shooting. Oh, it was really difficult to shot actually, with the amount of people around there, that is why am not really enjoyed wedding photography. Shot this and that, mostly candid shot then I went out, Malar’s nephew tengah kecoh-kecoh with his gang, and one of then pull my hand and told me there were tadpole in the drinks. Aiyooo…betul ke..I pun macam amaze la, uik… pergi lah tengok, and finally I found that were air sirap selasih…hoh…buat panic je budak-budak nie.
This is my first experience for Indian engagement. It is more or less like the Malay one, discussion among the family members as well as the trays full of food and sweets. Malar kelihatan sungguh ayu pada malam itu..aweee…hehhe…but pity her kena tempek with the red colour thingy on her forehead, for blessing from the family members and they will fed her with sweet as well, so mulut dia penuh dengan koko jelly….hehhehe…Shiann Malar. It was a colourful ceremony and fun, especially the eating part, the tosey. Tapi ada orang tak cukup makan tau beb, still ajak I pergi makan young tow foo in KL after that..hehhe…siapakah orang itu?

The Smoke House KL

One beautiful night, me and my honey went to the Smoke House in KL for dinner, yes the smoke house is in KL not in Fraser Hill. The smoke House have 2 branches which is in Kl and Fraser Hills, I only know this when one day I read my friend blog and he went there with his family for his birthday celebration, I get attracted with the photo that he shot, the place was so nice, an English style decorations and cosy, feel like you go to someone house.
The place located at the back of Avenue K, in front of KLCC at Jalan Mayang. So just follow the direction to go to the Avenue K parking and you go further a bit, well, from the outside it looks like no one in there, macam spooky pun ada la jugak kan… Just park you car by the road side, very limited parking space inside the house area, so the road side is fine.
So went in the house, they took you to a waiting area, well decorate space with sofa, candles and flowers, then you may order you meal there, while waiting for the meal to be ready they gave us peanuts and our drinks, so when the meals were ready, they took you to the dining table, and nyum nyum nyum nyum…
Basically the food are average, so-so, but the ambience of the house is so good, so romantic, very suitable place for marriage proposal, because less people in there, so in case the girl turn you off, you won't be so shy, hehehhe… When I was there, there were only 3 couples in the huge house, nice kan…privacy

Gambar yang telah di peram sangat-sangat lama sebab busy and have no time to upload the photo, as well as to pass the cd to my cousin, mesti dia merajuk. So end up hantar sahaja guna pos laju dekat dia.
After so long not playing with slr, rasa macam kekok la jugak sebab nak set up setting dia dengan pantas, heheh….thanks to Helmi for the lens and the SB and to Hafz for the D50. So ni lah hasil yang cam biasa-biasa jerrr, nasib baik la minah ni pandai jugak nak pose kan.

The Deerland located about 3km from the elephant sanctuary, so before the riding and feeding the elephant activities start, I hang out at the Deerland. There is no specific fees for the entrance, but you may contributes to the workers as you wish.
One guide will accompany you while you are in the area, so basically they will take you the deer area, and give you a basket of potatoes ( I guess, look like it) and you may fed the deer there, hati-hati, sume rusa ni nakal-nakal sikit, they jump to your chest to get the food, seriously this is so fun, and you may captured a close up of the deer from here, but not that easy to get a good shot because they are so active, running here and there.
Then you may see rabbits, burung puyuh, sugar glider ( Comelll nyerrr… Shangg I nak nie…nak nak nak) anak landak and bear, yes…the black bear, the bear who loves honey…and you may play with it and touch them, make sure the guide is around you or,he will ngappp….then end of the story…hehehe..
You may spent hours in this area, so sesiapa yang ikut hard core photographer to go there, banyak-banyak la bersabar, they also sell Deearland's goodies at the entrance, fridge magnet, t-shirt, face towel with the embroidery. Key chain, etc etc… another way to contributes to the place, buy any of the item. Hmmm…dalam hutan pun I boleh carik tempat nak shopping kan..kekeke….yeah..betul la one of my friend said, even at the desert we can find stuff to shop…hahaha…

" Lepas tu kan, anak gajah tu layi, layi, layi….pehtu kebusshhhhh…terjun dalam sungai tu, pehtu kan, mak gajah pun cakap..tunggu..tungguu..tunggu…” This is how my anak gajah told me story to racun me to follow him to the Elephants Sanctuary at Kuala Gandah. Hahaha….menagada-ngada but it works!
I been browsing my friend fotopages Janna, and one of her entry was about this place, so sibuk la tanya itu ini macam menarik gila, but then when am asking my anak gajah to go there he ignored me…hohoho…shiann I, kan I dah merajuk, nasib you pandai buat cerita mak gajah yang pandai berkata-kata!
This place is so nice, you can touch the elephant, play with them, fed them with your own hand and you can swim with them, ride on their back and kebosshhhh jump in the water. You may see wild elephant along the way as well, but I don’t dare to go near them, karang kena pijak, terus jadik lempeng.
If you want to go there, you have to be there early to get the yellow sticker, with the yellow sticker you can ride and swim with the elephant, only 120 yellow stickers will be distribute per day, so be the early. Or else you only will get red sticker, just a normal visit, cant ride or swim with the animal, but good enough for those who don’t want to get wet and smelly, for photographer, red sticker will do.
The journey from KL will take about 1 hours and 15 minutes. Take the highway to Kuantan and exit at Lanchang, then turn to the RIGHT at the junction after the exit of the highway, follow the signboard DEERLAND. Then you will pass the villages and don’t panic, when you see the sign to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, turn to the RIGHT. From here, don’t bother to look for the signboard, just look down at the road, they draw the Elephant photo on the road, so follow the drawing, macam mencarik harta karun pulak. There were few stalls around the area for foods, so no worries.
The activity with Elephant will start around 1.30pm, so after you register and collect the pass you may go to the Deerland and play with the deer there.

I can’t remember where were we before we settled at this restaurant. As far as I can recall this restaurant was there for more than 10 years ago and I don’t have the intention to walk in the place. So that evening, when we were struggling to find a nice place for dinner (we always like this, most of the time) hehehhe, we passed by the restaurant and asked my honey pie to go there, yeah…finally…
Victoria Station restaurants is very famous for it lobster and my honey is a big fan of seafood especially those with shell, so I racun la dia makan lobster, hehehe…and he chose the frozen lobster, and I settled with charbroil steak. I love the steak, the spicy gravy, taste like Malaysian fusion a bit. Then we all pun keluarlah membabat-babat dari kedai tu, please honey don’t put a blame on me for your babat…
On labour day, at first we planned to go for ice cream but end up at our favourite shop, the sushi king, again makan makan and makan…hmm…and they had promotion for the soft shell crab sushi, it was huge…and tasty, again, anything with shell will make my honey happy!

Happy Birthday Mafalafar

I was on KT training during the celebration and just went down to sing the famous song of the world ‘Happy Birthday’ to Mafalafar, then I ran back to the training upstairs.
Kals called me and invited me to her surprise birthday party at her house in Seremban. So she dint know that I’m coming to the party, well she is not supposed to know that there will be a party for her, but the next day she came to me and asked what is my plan for the weekend coz she is having a surprise party at her how…opsss…am confuse…how she knows that there will be a surprise party, then she laugh and told me that her mother blurted out about the event..hehhehehe… I just told her that I’m going out for a date so she didn’t know that I’m coming. Well at least it is a little bit surprise when she saw me that time at her party.
It was a small party, with her family and close friends, we really had good time there, other than the good food with all the beriyani, rendang, sate and I really love the birthday jelly, so sayang to potong that one, and the little boy was eagerly wanting to cut that jelly, so when the cut it, he smiled widely and it was tasty as well . We played a game, and it was so fun, Meelan and me asked Kals to throw flours to Mafalafar face but he didn’t dare to do it, so after we ended the game, Meelan gave an eye signal to Kals but he is so takut-takut, heheheh…. So I just dab my hand on the flour and put it at Kals face and ran away inside the house and lock the sliding door with Meelan. Maka bermulalah perang tepung…and she end up looked like she is ready to go to the Haloween party…hehehe….sorry beb…
Nanti birthday I korang tak boleh buat macam tu..sebab I baik..kan kan…dan I comel… I know Kals is waiting for the moment and I told them I will be on leave for months during my birthday, go travel around the world..hehehhe…catch me if you can…muahahahha…

Grill Mince meat, oh..this is really yummy
Reasons of me put on weight lately, mainly because of food, food, food. I remember someone told me, there are 2 reason you will gain weight, either you are happy or depress, this is a medical doctor words. So I assume I’m very happy! Heeheheh… yeah truly happy with my life, even I don’t have my slr, well that is not the reason for me being sad! After all life is too short to fell sad.
These are my food photo collection while I was travelling to Egypt, yeah I shot almost everything, the typical Japaness they said, I wonder whether I carried any Japs gens from paternal or maternal…hmmm… anyway I really enjoyed the foods there except the food in the flight on during the journey back to KL.
Grapevine and rice, something really different but tasty. Local fusion
Grill lambs with rice, something different with the rice, they mix a little bit of pasta and make it taste good.
