Secret Santa

I had to work during Aidiladha, basically in the office we were busy for Christmas celebration, with the decorations, the Christmas tree, the Secret Santa, oh yeah, this year we do have Secret Santa or Kris Krigle (for Aussie). Secret Santa is a tradition in which a members of group are randomly assigned others members to whom they anonymously give a gift. So this year, our boss is not going back to Aussie, we have to draw a name, and get a gift for the person, the gift price range is between rm5 – rm10. Actually it is hard to think what you want to give to the person, you don’t want to give them something that they can’t use, at the same time, you have to limit your budget, and to buy something for guy…duh! even a hard core shopaholic like me can’t decide what to get!
From the day one since our team famous organizer, Cik Kham decorate the tree, Suha and me busy with our Canon, shot here and there and I draw a big fat snow man, well, I don’t mean to destroyed any office’s property, plus harassing Kiki, they small green colour deer at boss’s cubicle, hehehe…. So during the weekend I saw 2 gifts under the tree with my name, hmm…we only suppose to get 1 gift but hey, extra mean people love you! Bluekk…
Cik Kham birthday was during Aidilahda, so the rest of the team planned to surprise her, we bought birthday cake and kfc (our usual meal for party). She cried when we sang happy birthday and walked to her cubicle with the cake! The cake was delicious, yummy…yummy…spoilt my diet, basically that day was full of foods, nasi impit, laksa, cakes, kfc, jelly…arghhhhh…how am I gonna lose my weight!... Can’t wait to open my Christmas gift.

Awana Porto Malai

Our last stop at Langkawi was Awana Porto Malai, stayed here for 2 nights, beb, do you think this place is worth the hassle that I had to go through? Well, thanks a million to Joanne, with her magic. I almost lost my patient for this place, hehehe…well you know me rite Shanngg, when people are not focusing on their job, I will easily get mad.
This place was awesome, nice building structure, the most important thing, it is beside the sea, even we can’t swim somewhere near there but at least we can smell the sea, hehhehe..
When we were there, there were Bollywood film crew shot few scene for their new movie, one of the days, I went out while they were shooting, and spoke to the main camera man, so he excitedly told me about the new movie, “that is the bad person in the movie, and that girl is the girlfriend’s of the bad person”, with his husky voice. “ Now you stand there, sit there, hey boy, hold her, I shot your photo!”. He captured quite a good photo of me and my partner! I was about to asked him, hey Mike, do you know any Vsnl or Brathi people? ( Not everyone understand this joke, and its only meant for few peoples) heheh…

Langkawi Hot Spring

Nothing much at the hot spring actually, they have a nice build of malay house, with the veranda and they also build a pelamin inside the house. I been thinking to do a foot massage when I was there because I was so tired walking here and there few days before, but when I was there, the person who did the massage was not there, so I just soak my foot in the pile with warm water. Its really cosy and I did 2 rounds, well for those who has smelly foot, you better soak it longer, kaki saper busyuk, jangan nak salahkah selipar okay… hehehe…
If you guys want to buy key chains or any other craft of Langkawi, I would say this is the cheapest place, even the selection is not so many but the price is really good compared to other places.
This place is slightly secluded, from Kuah town, there are few ways to get here, well you can go through Ulu Melaka , you will reach Beras Terbakar, then drive further for another 7-10 minutes before you reach here.
The interior of the Malay House is really good for wedding shot, seriously, with the dime light, the surrounding, you will get a really nice photo if you shot your wedding photo here, so, whoever going there, make sure you bring your photographer with you and you wedding dress!

Langkawi Cable Cars

Luckily that day the weather was good, not too hot or raining, I went to Langkawi Geo Park for the cable car ride, and this is the latest attraction at Langkawi. The cable cars will be only operates depending on the weather conditions, if it is too windy they will not run the cable cars.
Located at Gunung Macincang, the tallest mountain in Langkawi, it took about 15 minutes to reach the first point ( also depends on the weather ) and another 3 minutes to the top, there were 2 view point on the top and a bridge to cross to the other top, when I was there, the first view point was closed due to maintenance, so we went straight to the highest point. The wind up there was really strong, I had to put on my sunglasses or my tears will drop non stop. It was cool and foggy up there, well if the weather is good and the skies are blue, that will be the best time to go. To go to the bridge I had to go down a stairs under tropical trees, going down was fine but not during the way back up, you need a good stamina here, really good stamina, I had to made 2 stops, hehehhe… the big fat hen can’t walk too much.
The scary part was the bridge, they just hang the bridge with one point in the middle of it, well if they do a bungy jumping there, I swear I wont dare to do it, with the wind condition, even walking on the bridge I failed to balance myself, ok honey don’t laugh at me, you scared too rite! Blueekkk… Hoh…lagi kita ada hati nak pergi NZ kan…buat bungy jumping…kekekke… lets build our strength first okay.
There were lot of stalls there, selling t- shirts, batiks, key chains and lot more, they have Japanese and Thai restaurants as well, a food court and another restaurant at the hotel, yes, they do have small hotel there, in the geo park area. The surrounding was so cosy with lake and fountain. Sejukkk je bai…. Lepas turun dari mountain sure complexion muka you bertambah baik. There were one brand outlet shop just open there, but I’m too lazy to shop around, they do have duty free shop over there as well.
It is not difficult to get there from Kuah Town, just follow the road to the airport and then you just follow the sign board, make sure you get a map when you are there, a proper one, get a slightly details map, if you are the co pilot and your map didn’t help much, just make sure the driver didn’t get himself crazy and mad at you. Wink wink wink ….

LIMA 2007

I went to LIMA last weekend to full fill one of my other half life dream. Others than the air show, nothing fancy there, lots of miniature of aircrafts, helicopters and engines, yeah he tried to explain how the engines work but it was too technical for me ( heh, routing is not a technical stuff ). The entry is RM20 per person and I was there on the last day of the exhibition. There were 2 air shows for the day but we missed the first one in the morning, just heard the sound of the jets fighter from our hotel.
At the airport runway, where they display all the real aircrafts was crowded, the show begun around 2 something and it was really entertaining, especially from the red arrow team, the most famous one for the aircrafts show, don’t asked me more about them, too technical for me as well. Anyway, I can't imagine how those people who live in the war county, the sound of the jets fighter, the bombs, the machine guns, even I’m at the show felt scared of the sound, enough to give you the pre-mood of a real war. Alhamdullillah, I no need to sleep every night and woke up in the morning with the most frighten sound ever!
The weather was hot but windy, enough to burn my skins and spoilt my complexion, yeah, am getting old! We cant brought any drinks or umbrella to the runway, so most people stand under the aircraft wings, hope the new 380 Airbus was there. I found my hibiscus jumbo model there, yay, of course it was much more bigger than mine. Oh, Malaysian astronaut was there as well, but the que was too long to took photo with him.
I’m so impressed with the capability of one of the helicopter, it can fly up side down and it was amazing! There were nothing so great about LIMA actually to catch my interest, well maybe it is no a girls thing but I had a good time and I wish my d40 was there. So hard to captured the air show with my compact! Hehehe ( alasan gambar tak cantik dan malas nak edit )

Bowling, Enchanted, Paddington

It was a super depress week, when was the time that I’m not complaining about my life? Arghh…hehehe.. Last weekend was tiring, maybe because I’m already in holiday mood and have no motivation to work, anyway, after finished work last Sunday I went to Alamanda with Suha and Hafz for what we called as ‘hutang darah di bayar darah’, sound really brutal eh, but the truth we just went for bowling. It was fun and really a good matched. As usual I will be the last one with the less pins. Hoho…tak apa, sebab aku belum melepaskan hajat lagi, sebab tu aku kalah, kan Suha kan kan kan.
I’m off for 2 days, well my usual off days which I think never been enough after a long hours work, nothing much been done other than did my laundry, went back to Sg.Buloh and dating. I went to movie and we had about 2 hours before the movie start, well, we head up to Paddington and I really enjoyed the mini pan cakes very much, yummy, delicious and I want more, sayang… nak pan cakes… forgot about the size zero dream or what so ever, size zero was so last year! Alasan, alasan..muahahha
I can't wait for my long holiday… blue skies, beach, fresh air, oh, can't wait, can't wait…

Incomplete Reunion
|
|
Incomplete reunion took place at Souled Out Hartamas, why it was incomplete, because only 3 of us were there, I mean 3 from the devil group. I can’t recall when was the last time I met Dinesh after we graduated donkey years back, I did met Jordan, went out for movies and luncheon, but still it was long way ago as well. Wanwan cant make it that nite because she got a curfew now, hehehhe… after came back from US you got a curfew girl, safety come first rite, this is no longer a safe place like before, so may crime here and there you know.
We had a good chat that night, well I felt we were still the same person since we left our university life. Dinesh is slimmer that before, well that is what I saw that night, maybe like he said, physically abused, flying high and down everyday. Nothing change for Jordan, and as of me, yes, I’m the big fat hen now. We talked about life, our current works, relationship, gossiping, bitching etc etc, hah, guys also know how to bitch, so please don’t under estimate them.
It was really a good hang out after soooo loongggg , we should do this more often you know, coz none of us have bigger commitment other than work. We called Kah Yung as well that nigh, this guy are so into 3Gs call, so we had a video conference with him using Jordan’s mobile. Kah Yung said I’m fat, fat, fat and I just blame Jordan’s mobile for that, yeah just balme his N76 Nokia mobile that make me look fat that my real size. Hehehhe.. I will try to plan a holiday soon and I’ll definitely will inform all of you with the details.

Happy Birthday Mike
|

I was late for Mike’s birthday party. I reached home around 8.30pm an waited for my hunny pie and he reached around 9.00pm. I was in a pist off mood at that time, and my face was really terrible, while I’m getting ready, my hunny pie patiently waiting and listening to me bubbling, letting go my anger for what had happened during the evening while I’m applying my eye shadow and blusher. He just listen, no comment, nothing. Then when we went to the car, the moment I start the car, he started to imitate me, the way I let go my anger while putting on my blusher and eye shadow, yeah he is good at doing that, imitating me, he will imitate me for almost everything.
I hate it when I was late and the traffic was not on my side. Bummer, what do I expect, I’m heading to Bukit Ceylon and have to go through Jln Bkt Bintang and the only time that this road is not in bumper to bumper condition will be during hari raya. Finally I reach Regency Tower around 10.30pm.
Everyone there welcome us and they passed us the plate and we serve ourselves for the salad, well Mike said we were late for the mutton, but they still have fish on top of the grill, yay! Paul was the cheft on that night, and the fish was really good, yummy, I never ate toman fish before, well yeah I saw few before in my uncle’s tank but never tough that I can eat the fish. So after that I asked Paul for the recipe, and asked him where did he get the fish from, he said he was in a taxi somewhere around Jalan Kuching highway and the fish was in the middle of the road, the fish jump from the tank of a lorry, wow…lucky him. So my darls said, maybe we should go and drive there someday and found another fish there. Hahaha…yah rite, but no harm trying.

I'm Hungry

I’m starving. It almost 3pm now and I still not eating my lunch yet. Last weeks I went to so many places with my Shangg for food, yeah we love to eat. I want food now, food, food, food, am hungry.. hungry, but as usual when I’m about to go out, I don’t know what I want to eat. It happen almost every time, even if I had been given few options, still I cant make up my mind what I want to eat.
The photo was taken when I just got my little baby canon. So called testing the features. I want food…. Am hungry..Arghhhh…
